2009 Camp Courage Paramedic Component a Success
It was another successful year for the paramedic component of Camp Courage!
Paramedic days were held on July 6 and 7, 2009 for the 25 attendees. The paramedic component involved a number of skill stations, ambulance and communication tours, a review of the P.A.R.T.Y. program, paramedic fitness testing and several guest speakers.
Camp Courage provides young females ages 15-19 information, education, inspiration and opportunities to experience the demands required to pursue a career in emergency services. The Camp is an eight-day program with two days each dedicated to paramedicine, firefighting and police work.
We thank everyone who supported this initiative and thank all of the staff from our organization who made this a success.
